FancyFon delivers the industry’s leading Samsung KNOX support  and day one support for Samsung Galaxy S6

Barcelona, Spain – March 2, 2015 – Monday, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, FancyFon, a leading European provider of enterprise mobility management and security solutions, announced new features available for the KNOX environment together with day one support for the just-released Samsung Galaxy S6. Those enhancements are intended to power productivity for companies leveraging FAMOC EMM platform and Samsung devices – for every business, every industry and every geography.

Getting work done anywhere, from any device, is the new norm. Enterprises recognize that there are gains to be had by allowing mobile of all sorts, but the need for better security and policy enforcement is still a hurdle for many organizations looking to meet the stringest legal requirements.

“The security landscape has undergone a massive transformation as organizations need to juggle between COPE (Corporate Owned, Privately Enabled) and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) scenarios,” said Bartosz Leoszewski, CEO at FancyFon. “Powered by the latest KNOX 2.4 update, FAMOC will help secure enterprises that consider user experience and productivity as important as ensuring the right levels of user access and data protection.”

FAMOC & KNOX Bond

In addition to already implemented advanced Samsung KNOX features (SSO, KNOX VPN configuration, data sharing restrictions), the latest FAMOC release offers the following benefits:

  • IoT Ready – unlock Samsung KNOX Workspace using Samsung Galaxy Gear as a trusted authenticator. FAMOC makes it easy to manage connected devices across the Internet of Things (IoT) and enterprise mobility management playing an important role in KNOX access management.
  • Integration – this new feature enable end users to log into the Samsung KNOX Workspace using Active Directory credentials.
  • Enable productivity – enable normal Bluetooth and NFC functionality for applications inside the KNOX container.
  • Savings – dual-APN based enterprise split billing. By assigning a different APN to the data traffic of the container FAMOC administrators can separately bill customers for personal and enterprise uses.

FAMOC and Samsung KNOX integration is being shown at MWC 2015 in the Samsung B2B booth (hall 3). To learn more about the integration, visit http://knox.fancyfon.com/
