Lotos secures Android devices with FAMOC and Samsung KNOX

To enforce the security policy and manage the new Samsung devices, LOTOS IT team needed a way to secure the mobile assets and safeguard confidential information without adversely affecting user experience. They’ve already been using FAMOC MDM platform, and were looking for a solution to support both corporate owned devices and BYOD.
USE CASESamsung KNOX allows LOTOS employees to separate private and corporate content, they can easily switch between two mode whenever they like. With FAMOC, the IT Department gets full visibility and management functionality of KNOX devices. KNOX status is visible in the main monitoring dashboard and reports tab, it’s possible to create separate KNOX policies, manage applications in the KNOX container, wipe the KNOX container (enterprise wipe – the personal data remains untouched).
